Another unforgettable 126th Philippine Independence Day celebration! It was such a pleasure to see Consul General Maria Lourdes again after all this time.
I am so proud to be part of such a vibrant and passionate community. The food, music, and dancing were on point! Feeling inspired and filled with pride.
I had the honour of attending the Vesak 2024 ceremony at Quang Minh Temple, and it was a truly enlightening experience. Vesak, which commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and passing of Buddha, is a significant event for Buddhists around the world, and this year’s celebration was nothing short of magical.
It was a day of reflection, gratitude, and community spirit. I left the ceremony feeling uplifted and inspired to carry forward the values of Vesak in my own life.
A heartfelt thank you to the Quang Minh Temple and everyone who participated in making Vesak 2024 a memorable and meaningful event. May the light of Vesak continue to guide us all towards a path of peace and harmony.
Congratulations to almost 400 Brimbank residents becoming Australian citizens this week.
It’s always a mixed emotional feeling for me when being a presiding officer or an MC at the Citizenship Ceremony.
40 years ago, I joined with my parents to make the Australian citizenship pledge. Now, seeing all the excited and happy faces becoming Australians brings back memories and really touches my heart.
Each one of you will be a great asset for Australia’s diverse communities in Brimbank.
Joining the Vesak Day at Quang Minh Temple is a truly humbling experience.
A moment to reflect on the virtues of kindness, mindfulness, and generosity as we celebrate the birth and enlightenment of the Buddha.
Wishing everyone a day filled with peace, compassion, and joy. May we all be inspired by the teachings of Buddha and strive towards inner peace and wisdom.
I am excited to join the committee for the Australian Vietnamese Women Association. It is an honor to be a part of such a passionate and innovative group of individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Vietnamese women in Victoria.
Thank you so much to Cam Nguyen, Founding President and all of you who have supported me on this journey. I am excited for the possibilities that lie ahead, and I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.
Happy 40 Years Young and Thriving AVWA. Let’s continue to work towards a brighter future for all Vietnamese women in Australia!

Feeling inspired and grateful after attending a fantastic event organised by Australian Local Government Women Association.
It was amazing to connect with so many great women in leadership roles and gaining valuable insights on leadership, community involvement, and personal growth from the inspiring speakers’ experiences.
I feel more empowered than ever to drive change in my role.
Thank you to Mornington Peninsula Shire for hosting and ALGWA for putting together such a fantastic event and for creating a space where women can come together to support one another.
Looking forward to staying connected and continuing to thrive together!
