It’s great to attend the NAIDOC Week event to celebrate the history, culture and achievement of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Brimbank.

The stories of Aunty Joyce, Uncle Boots, Aunty Pauline, Aunty Jean and others who have driven and led change in Brimbank were so touching and inspiring. They are the champions of change of basic human rights.

It’s a pleasure meeting Artist Debbie Qadri, a long-lasting treasure working partner at the opening of the Glengala road Pocket Part.

Debbie and students’s contributions are greatly appreciated. Their amazing artwork has brought wonderfull changes to the old petrol station area.

It’s wonderful to see the young Artists’ works at The Gallery In Me event at the Kororoit Creek Neighbourhood House today.

Lise Kaufman, a lovely Artist who has encouraged and gathered the young Artists to share about themselves and their experiences through their impressive artworks.

It’s interesting to hear one of the young Artist‘s sharing. He joined the project because of his mother has enrolled for him. But when he involved in the project, he’s really enjoyed and has created lots of artworks that he has never thought he could do.

It’s a pleasure to join the 59th Ugandan Independence Day celebration.

The community gathered together to celebrate the culture, heritage and traditions with beautiful decorations and lovely food.

It’s a great honour to give a speech at the Unveiling of Commemorative of Gwen Goedecke event.

Gwen was the second female Councillor elected to Sunshine City Council in 1982. She was also a founding member of the Sunshine International Women’s Committee.

Gwen’s impressive achievements and more than 50 years of tireless service to support, educate and raise awareness for women in the west must not be forgotten.

It’s lovely to meet the residents in Grasslands today at Let’s Talk Grasslands session.

It’s a privilege to attend two Neighbour Day events at Sunvale Community Park and Westvale Community Centre.

Neighbour Day has been connecting communities for 20 years. Brimbank City Council has provided mini grants to 30 groups around Brimbank to celebrate Neighbour Day.

It’s a great honour and privilege to open the Know Yourself, Show Yourself, Grow Yourself Mental Health Festival.

This amazing weeklong festival is to raise awareness and normalise conversations about mental health by creating a safe and inclusive space where community, services, ideas and creativity can dance together.

A fantastic night seeing beautiful hand-crafted flowers exhibited by the Australian Vietnamese Art incorporate at Bowery Theatre.

The creatives of three artists Thoa Tran, Nhu Mai and Matthew in using materials such as paper, straws, buttons and wool yarn to make different kinds of flowers are really amazing and inspiring.
